The Brief
MLO already had the ingredients of a luxury house: a designer-gemologist, a distinctive natural-material vocabulary, decades of craft and a respected resort stockist network. The opportunity was to make those signals legible in seconds.
Jewelry is not sold by inventory alone.
It is sold through meaning, scale, light and trust.
The Conversion System
A sunlit editorial image earns attention.
Language gives the jewelry a point of view.
Materials, craft and provenance justify value.
Filters and on-body scale reduce uncertainty.
Shopify carries the shopper into secure checkout.
01 · Sell the world
02 · Prove the object
03 · Show the scaleFour Selling Principles
The opening image sells a world before the interface asks for a transaction. The product enters as an artifact of that world—not a disconnected SKU.
Clean object photography explains material and construction. On-body studies answer the questions shoppers cannot ask a screen: proportion, movement and presence.
Founder expertise, atelier provenance, responsible materials and respected stockists appear before the final sales ask. Perceived value is built in sequence.
Private clients move toward quick product discovery. Retail and hospitality partners enter a separate trade narrative without weakening the consumer experience.
The Commerce Layer
The visual experience stays bespoke while Shopify remains the operating engine for catalog, variants, inventory, Markets, search, discounts, customer accounts, cart and checkout.
